Build a robust and scalable infrastructure for your ERP with Gcore Edge Cloud.
Create a
custom architecture without limits.
- Run Windows virtual desktops on VM instances and connect remote users to the ERP via the RDS protocol.
- Use Gcore S3-compatible object storage for backups and archiving.
- Deploy databases and related services on VM or BM instances with high-frequency CPUs.
- Use Managed Kubernetes to increase the automation and scaling capabilities of your ERP infrastructure.
- Let us help you with a custom ERP implementation.
We make
deployment simple
- 1
Planning
Define the scope of the software. Plan the ERP deploying and testing processes in detail.
- 2
Preparation
Prepare your new infrastructure on Gcore Edge Cloud. Deploy VMs, bare metal instances, and other services you need.
- 3
Deployment
Run your ERP, database, and other software on the new infrastructure.
- 4
Data replication
Copy data, metadata, and settings to the new ERP. Synchronize your on-premises and cloud ERPs.
- 5
Testing
Test the cloud ERP with your internal management team. Make sure all functionality works properly and users can perform all required tasks.
- 6
Final changeover
Move all users and processes to the new ERP in a short, predictable timeframe. Create a plan for future maintenance.
Integrated cloud services to manage your ERP infrastructure with ease
Virtual Machines
Production-grade instances designed for a wide range of workloads and predictable performance. Based on modern Intel® Xeon® Ice-Lake 3rd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors.
Virtual Private Cloud
Set up protected isolated networks even between virtual machines and bare metal servers for free.
Object Storage
Keep objects in S3-compatible storage for faster scaling.
File storage
Store data on disks of different types and create snapshots of resources on a schedule.
Managed Kubernetes
Deploy and optimize applications and clusters with container-based virtualization.
Load Balancers
Ensure the availability of your applications during traffic spikes by managing infrastructure loads via API.

The most common advantages include:
- Scalability. Cloud ERP systems scale easily. You don’t need to research, buy, wait for, and set up new hardware or software as your needs evolve.
- Lower cost of ownership (usually). ERP in the cloud is often more cost-effective than on-premises ERP. You don’t have to buy and maintain your own hardware and software or hire and train engineers when you opt for a cloud-based model.
- Global access. Cloud ERP systems allow you and your users to access the ERP system from anywhere in the world. This is an advantage for companies with global operations.
- Fault tolerance. Cloud-based ERP is resilient to potential outages and disasters. You can replicate data across multiple servers and geographical locations, ensuring that the data remains available during a hardware failure or natural disaster. This helps to minimize the risk of data loss and supports business continuity.
The decision to deploy ERP on virtual machines (VMs) or bare metal servers depends on a number of factors, including your specific business needs, requirements, and budget. For example:
- VMs are a good option if you need to quickly and easily scale up or down your ERP system and reduce your IT workload.
- Bare metal servers are suitable if you want to get better performance for your ERP system and maintain complete control over it.
Gcore Edge Cloud provides outstanding and proven security, protecting our customers’ services and data on multiple levels:
Physical security:
- Compliance with GDPR, PCI DSS, and ISO/IEC 27001
- Tier III and Tier IV certified data centers
Infrastructure security: - Virtual Private Cloud with secure access to virtual instances. The Gcore team doesn’t have access to your VM operating system or data
- Intel SGX instances support to protect your sensitive data better
Network security: - L3, L4, and L7 DDoS protection with real-time alerts
- Web Application Firewall (WAF)
From the Gcore Edge Cloud side, there are no restrictions on the licensed use of ERP systems of any type and from any vendor. However, some vendors may have restrictions. Examples:
- A cloud ERP vendor may restrict customers from using their ERP in other clouds.
- A vendor doesn’t allow an on-premises ERP license to be used for deploying the same ERP in the cloud.
We recommend that you check for vendor restrictions before moving your ERP to Gcore. If you need help with this, please contact us.
The final price is the price of the cloud services you actually use, and you will only be charged for these services on a pay-as-you-go basis. Note that when you use virtual machines, you don’t pay for egress traffic; you only pay for it when using bare metal.
