Gcore joins the CDN Alliance

Gcore is happy to become a part of the CDN Alliance, an international non-profit organization that brings together leaders of the CDN industry. The mission of the Alliance is to address industry challenges, define standardization, centralize and redistribute information and intelligence, improve the visibility of the CDN industry, and drive growth for the industry as a whole.

The CDN Alliance was established in 2021 to become the face and voice of the CDN industry. The mission of the Alliance is to address industry challenges, define standardization, centralize and redistribute information and intelligence, improve the visibility of the CDN Industry, and grow the overall industry.

As part of our cooperation with the CDN Alliance, on November 23, 2022, we hosted the first Virtual Open Forum titled “Privacy initiatives by browsers and impact on CDNs”. The forum was a joint effort between the CDN Alliance, Gcore, and Google. It was an excellent opportunity for us to discuss the new privacy features within browsers and their actual and potential impact on the use of CDNs.

Gcore is looking forward to other opportunities to work together with the Alliance. Membership in the CDN Alliance will allow us to share tech knowledge, receive feedback from our partners and community, and use it to improve our products. Additionally, we strive to learn more about the market and stay up to date with the latest CDN trends. It’s a major step towards providing even better service to current and new Gcore customers.
