Gclaw Month: Automate the Work That Keeps Slowing You Down

Everyone has a task that takes too long, interrupts more important work, or keeps coming back. This September, we’re challenging the Gcore community to automate it.
This September, we’re putting Gclaw in the hands of the community. We want to see what people can do with it, and there’s no better way to learn than by involving those who build and solve problems every day.
The goal is simple: help you end the month with one less repetitive task on your list, while your real-world feedback helps us make Gclaw work even better for you.
What is Gclaw?
In simple terms, Gclaw is like an affordable digital intern for the tasks no one wants to keep doing. It learns from doing tasks, works beyond a single conversation, and never complains about another repetitive job.

Jokes aside, Gclaw is a personal AI assistant that does more than answer questions. It has its own dedicated environment where it can work with files and tools, remember context, and keep tasks moving across multiple interactions.
OpenClaw, a dedicated Gcore VM, and managed inference are already connected. Ask Gclaw to research a topic, monitor updates, prepare reports, investigate code, or handle recurring work without configuring servers or managing API keys first.
At its core, Gclaw gives you a way to spend less time on the work you hate and more time on the work that needs you.
Why We’re Celebrating Gclaw Month
AI assistants are quickly becoming part of how people work, build, and solve problems. But the world does not need another assistant shaped only around eye-catching demos. There are already plenty of examples showing AI scraping videos or suggesting the next viral TikTok. Useful for some, but far from what majority of us need day-to-day.
Gclaw already works, and people can put it to use today. Our opportunity now is to build it around the way people actually think and work. We do not want to make those decisions behind closed doors. We want to build alongside the people using it, understand the problems that consume their time, and shape Gclaw around work they truly need help with.
We’re dedicating September to putting Gclaw to work on real tasks. We want the community to test it, share honest results, and tell us where it helps, where it struggles, and what would make it more useful.
By the end of the month, we want more than a collection of demos. We want people to have saved time, inspired one another, and helped shape a better Gclaw through real experience.
Three Ways to Join Gclaw Month
September is your chance to build with Gclaw, see it working live, and learn alongside the people shaping what comes next.
Automate It with Gclaw
Think of one repetitive task you wish would disappear. The weekly report you keep rebuilding. The updates you constantly check. That one annoying development task that always interrupts more important work.

Use Gclaw to automate it, then post a short walkthrough in our Discord's #showcase explaining the problem, your setup, how the automation works, and what changed. You can submit multiple automations, as long as each one solves a different problem.
We will close entries on September 30 and award projects that will stand out with prizes.
See Gclaw working live
Join the Gclaw team on September 15 at 17:00 CEST / 08:00 PDT for a live demonstration.
We’ll show how to set up a personal AI assistant, give it a real task and show you the results On top of that the core Gclaw team will answer any and all questions your might have. You’ll also get an early look at what the team is building next and we have a special surprise in store for everyone who will be at the demo. So you definitely don't want to miss it!
Join the community giveaways
The contest is not your only chance to win. We’ll be sharing giveaways and surprises throughout Gclaw Month. Make sure to join the Gcore Discord and follow announcements so you can stay up to date on everything.
Who Should Join?
Gclaw Month is for people already building with AI and those preparing to launch their first assistant.
If you already use AI agents, show us how you work, where Gclaw could make the biggest difference, and what would make it more useful. Your experience can help shape the product around real workflows and everyday problems.
If you have never built an AI assistant before, this month is for you too. Gclaw removes much of the usual setup, including server configuration, model setup, and API keys. A seven-day free trial and a no-commitment monthly plan make it easier to give your first idea a try.
You do not need an ambitious project. Start with one task that wastes your time, follow the live demonstration, and see if Gclaw can take it off your list.
If you have ever thought:
- “There has to be a faster way to do this.”
- “I wish I could automate this task.”
- “I want to see how people actually use AI.”
Then you already have a place in Gclaw Month.
Gclaw Month lives in our Discord community. Join us, meet people who are just as curious about AI as you are, and say hello to the Gcore team. We promise we’re more fun than our infrastructure diagrams.
