Announcing our $60m Series A Fund Raise and the Next Chapter of Growth and Innovation for Gcore

Today, we are excited to share the news that Gcore has raised $60 million in series A funding. This investment, the first external raise since the company was started over a decade ago, was led by Wargaming, with participation from Constructor Capital and Han River Partners.

Accelerating Innovation in a High-Growth Edge AI Market

In 2022 the global edge AI market was valued at USD 14,787.5 million and is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21.0% from 2023 to 2030. This rapid growth is attributed to organizations from across wide-ranging industries adopting edge AI workloads and infrastructure to drive operational innovation, enhance the efficiency of their cloud resources and prioritise data sovereignty.

With a powerful global network of over 180 edge nodes across six continents, including 25+ cloud locations, Gcore is trusted by public organizations, telecommunications, and global corporations to deliver reliable, scalable edge AI, cloud, network, and security solutions worldwide. Our cloud infrastructure is built for the edge, powering both the training of large language models (LLMs), a market valued at $200bn+ and rising, and the inference of AI applications at the edge.

This expansive network, strong presence in emerging markets, and proven cloud capabilities in AI training and inference mean that Gcore is uniquely positioned to successfully meet this surging demand in a growing global market, and this additional funding will fuel this mission further. We will use this series A raise to fund further AI innovation in Gcore solutions and technology, including investing in cutting-edge AI servers powered by NVIDIA GPUs.

“We are on the cusp of an AI revolution that will transform how companies operate,” said Andre Reitenbach, CEO of Gcore. “Gcore is perfectly positioned to connect the world to AI, anywhere and anytime, by delivering innovative AI, cloud, and edge solutions. The growing demand for AI infrastructure from enterprises and SMBs alike highlights the importance of this significant investment. We are thrilled by the support of investors like Wargaming, Constructor Capital, and Han River Partners as we enhance our extensive network of AI servers and reinforce the powerful edge services we offer.”

Stay Tuned for the Next Phase of our Journey

As we enter the next phase of growth at Gcore, fueled by this strategic investment in our future, we remain committed to continuous innovation in pursuit of our company vision: to connect the world to AI, anywhere, anytime.
