‘Made in Luxembourg’ is a trademark that appeared in 1984 at the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Chamber of Professions and Trades of Luxembourg.

This mark is awarded to companies of impeccable reputation operating in the territory of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

We moved our headquarters from Vienna to Luxembourg in 2015 for two reasons.

First of all, it’s a convenient location—some of the largest European data centers (Luxembourg, Frankfurt, Amsterdam) are just several hours away. It was extremely important for our rapidly growing content delivery network.

Secondly, tax preferences were in force at that time for international companies.

It was in Luxembourg that we launched the first Gcore Cloud location at the end of 2019.

By 2020, the Luxembourg data center has almost all of our products: dedicated and virtual servers, CDN cache servers, storage, virtual machines and drives.
