Gcore announces new version support for Managed Kubernetes v1.25 and v1.26

Gcore is pleased to announce an update of its Managed Kubernetes platform. We now offer support for the latest versions of Kubernetes: Kubernetes 1.25 and Kubernetes 1.26.

Gcore Managed Kubernetes platform now also comes with improved pod scheduling and several other features, such as Image Registry Changes, Dynamic Resource Allocation, and unhealthy pod eviction enhancements, which are part of the Kubernetes 1.26 Electrifying version release. Gcore’s Kubernetes management platform provides support for both bare metal and virtual instances.

Unique Advantages of Gcore’s Managed Kubernetes Service

#1 Bare metal support: Gcore Managed Kubernetes service runs on both virtual machines (VMs) and bare metal instances. Managed Kubernetes on bare metal reduces latency and improves performance, and avoids interference from neighboring VMs. Bare metal offers the following benefits:

  • Easy deployment: You easily deploy your Kubernetes clusters with just a few clicks, thanks to our intuitive web-based interface, REST API, and Terraform.
  • High availability: The service is designed to provide high availability, with automatic failover and self-healing capabilities.
  • Scalability: Our auto-scaling feature allows your Kubernetes clusters to scale up or down as needed, without any downtime.

Talk to an expert if you are unsure whether you need VM or bare metal.

#2 No-fee SLA-backed cluster management: Gcore Managed Kubernetes service provides production level cluster management with a 99.9% SLA guarantee at no extra cost. Our competitors either offer no SLA guarantee or charge $70+ per month for it.

#3 Unmatched price point: Gcore Managed Kubernetes services deliver exceptional value; there is no additional cost for worker nodes, so you only pay for virtual and bare metal instances.
