Cameo is a global, full-cycle marketing agency with offices in Spain, Belgium, and the US. Its headquarters are located in Luxembourg. The company serves customers all over the world, most often communicating with them via video calls.
Previously, Cameo used free solutions for this, but in 2020 they came to the conclusion that a branded video calling and conferencing service built into their own website would be the right solution to both increase the company’s brand awareness and to strengthen its image.
The task
“When you work for a digital marketing agency that specializes in promoting products and services, it’s very important to have your own positive image from the first call to the customer,” says Jesús Peña García, founder and CEO of Cameo Digital Marketing.
The company’s competitors used free, unbranded video conferencing solutions. “We decided to do it differently,” says Jesús Peña García. “This has become our key distinction.”
Cameo Digital Marketing were looking for a contractor who could implement their idea in a short period of time. The solution came from another Luxembourg-based company, Gcore.

The results
We solved the customer’s problem in a few days, and no coding was needed.
With video call branding, Cameo Digital Marketing has increased their call-to-deal conversions. According to Jesús Peña García, the first impression of potential customers was this: “You’re creating your own video conferencing environment! You strive to increase brand awareness, which means you’re cool!”
