5 new points of presence of our global edge infrastructure

In the first two quarters of 2022, we launched several new CDN points of presence.

CDN in Europe

We launched the second CDN point of presence in Nicosia, Cyprus. This significantly improved our response time there, which is now ~9 ms compared to our competitors’ average of 27+ ms.

CDN in Asia

Asia is one of our strategic directions for content delivery network expansion. Due to growing customer traffic, we have opened our second Vietnamese point of presence in Hanoi. The leading CDN performance (~24 ms for response time) is now fully guaranteed there.

We never had a PoP in Tajikistan before. Middle Asia is actively increasing the number of internet users, and there are many new web services, but network performance is still moderate due to the regional specifics. In March, we launched our first CDN location in Dushanbe to change things up.

CDN in Latin America

Our first CDN PoP in Latin America was launched in Saõ Paulo in 2018. Since then, we have provided one of the best response times among top CDN performers in South America. To reinforce our leadership, we recently added a new location in Guatemala City.

CDN in the USA

We cannot call our CDN truly global and performant without providing robust coverage in a large region like the USA. To better perform in the United States Midwest region, we have opened a new PoP in Minnesota.
