4 new points of presence for our CDN

New Locations
This year, we have already opened 14 new CDN locations and expanded our network capacity in four previously launched points of presence.
Here’s how our CDN evolved in Q3, 2021.
CDN in Latvia
This year, we opened our CDN’s first point of presence in the Baltics, namely, in Riga. The Baltic region is a technological hub for the whole of Northern Europe. It was strategically important for us to launch a PoP in this location.
The average response time in Latvia is now around 25 ms.

CDN in Uzbekistan
We continue to expand our presence in Central Asia and have opened a location in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. This is our first point in this country. It will help improve the response time throughout the Central Asian region.
The new location is already yielding good results. The average response time in Uzbekistan is currently 17 ms.

CDN in Iraq
In Iraq, we already have one point of presence in the capital, Baghdad. But to speed up the content delivery in the country and in the Middle East in general, we’ve decided to launch another location in Erbil.
We are gradually expanding our presence in the region. As for now, the average response time in Iraq is about 41 ms.

Expanding network capacities
In Q3 this year, we actively worked on the performance of our locations in Latin America.
We managed to optimize the operation of our points of presence in Lima (Peru), Bogota (Colombia), Santiago (Chile), Santiago de Querétaro (Mexico), and Buenos Aires (Argentina).
We are currently outperforming most competitors in terms of response time in Latin America.
