How did you first become interested in working in your field?
As a teacher and a trainer by profession, I really enjoy dealing with people of all ages, diverse culture, and mixed personalities. It all started when I was given an opportunity to be part of a hospitality industry where I was part of the HR pre-opening team. I started to see my passion and sense of fulfillment every time I could on-board a new employee!
What inspired you to join the team?
I can say that the job description of the role really made me enthusiastic about joining the team. Knowing that I will be part of setting up a local entity and be one of the first employees, I feel that given an opportunity, I can help a lot of people to get a job but also a career.
What do you enjoy most about working for Gcore?
I am really enjoying meeting new faces and nationalities, learning from others, sharing cultures and catching up with different time zones.
Can you share a piece of advice for others in your field or for those considering a similar career path?
Being part of an HR team is really a commitment and not just a position! An HR professional must know how to make use of all the senses as we are dealing with 3P’s – people, process, and performance.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Or do you have any hobbies or passions that you pursue in your free time?
During off days, I spend time with my kids watching movies at home, going out to try new recipes in the food hubs, and visiting historical places like old churches and museums.
What do you think sets our company apart from others in the industry?
I think what Gcore has that other competitors lack are the five big C’s – Collaboration, Care, Camaraderie, Commitment and Credibility!
